Invoice Maker

A local-first invoicing app. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Information you create in the app

Invoice Maker stores the business and document information you choose to enter so you can create invoices, estimates, exports, and related records.

  • Business profile details such as company name, logo, phone number, email address, billing address, website, and tax number
  • Client details such as name, phone number, email address, billing and shipping addresses, tax number, and notes
  • Invoice and estimate data such as document numbers, dates, line items, discounts, taxes, totals, terms, notes, and payment status
  • Optional signature images and photo attachments you add to documents
  • Local preferences such as appearance, template choices, and export settings

How your data is stored and used

Based on the current iOS implementation reviewed on March 28, 2026, the app stores core business, client, invoice, estimate, and attachment data locally on your device using Apple's local data frameworks.

We use this information to help you create, edit, preview, organize, export, print, and share invoices and estimates inside the app.

Optional permissions and device access

The app may request access to certain device features only when you choose to use related functionality.

  • Contacts access, to let you import client details from your device contacts
  • Photo library access, to let you choose logos, signature images, and document photos from your library
  • Camera access, to let you capture document-related photos such as invoice attachments

Photos, attachments, signatures, and document assets

If you add a business logo, signature image, or photo attachments, those images are stored locally in the app and may appear in generated invoices, estimates, exports, or previews.

These materials are only shared outside your device when you decide to export, print, email, or share the relevant document.

Exports, email, printing, and sharing

The app can generate PDF, image, CSV, and related export files for your own business use. It can also present Apple's system email, printing, and share interfaces so you can send or distribute documents.

When you use those features, the content you chose to export or share leaves the app according to the destination you selected, such as Mail, Files, AirDrop, printing, or another sharing target.

What we do not currently use in the iOS app

Based on the current iOS implementation reviewed on March 28, 2026, we did not find evidence of mandatory account creation, cloud sync, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs in the current app code.

We also did not find evidence of a live backend API used to transmit invoice or client data to our own servers in the current iOS implementation.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Because the app is currently local-first, your records generally remain on your device until you edit or delete them. You can remove invoices, estimates, clients, attachments, logos, and signatures from the app as needed.

If you uninstall the app, locally stored app data may be removed by your device. Files you exported, emailed, printed, or shared remain wherever you chose to send or save them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we add cloud features, analytics, new permissions, new processors, or materially different data flows, we will update this page before or with that release.
